I bought the Rhomlon multi-use crayons at $5.90 each. Which is pretty cheap.
I really liked this cos it was really easy and convenient to use plus they're extremely pigmented.

On days when you're feeling lazy, this helps a lot cos all you have to do is just swipe across your eye then use your fingers to blend it in.

although it says it can be used on your cheeks and lips as well, i highly doubt i'd be doing that with these colours! haha i'll wind up looking like a clown. :P

The lasting power for this is pretty good too and it doesn't smudge a lot. The only problem i see is how am i going to find a sharpener large enough for it. hmm. Any recommendations?

Rhomlon Miss Claire liquid eyeliner

I bought Rhomlon Miss Claire liquid eyeliner for $7.90 and it's made in Germany.

It has a felt tip head, so its easier to draw and manipulate the thickness of the line + its easier to apply. However, the "ink" flowing out from it isn't really constant so its not very pigmented. I often had to go over some places a few times before I could achieve the desired blackness of my eyeliner.

Rhomlon Miss Claire liquid eyeliner is also not not waterproof, and it smudges really easily. And it dissolves really easily in water and makeup remover (whether this is a boon or a bane depends on you actually) I accidentally drew on my forehead while applying this so I was like, whew! when it came off easily when i splashed my forehead with water.

Do be careful and wait for a while before you open your eyes after applying it. Hhaa i thought it dried immediately like the markers that you use on ppr (naive, i know) so i opened my eyes and it smeared all over and i had to redo my eye make up again :(

Overall, I'd say nay, cos it really smudges easily and has no lasting power whatsoever :(

Rhomlon eyeshadow review

Rhomlon's a brand that I've seen lurking around chameleon, aries etc.

Initially, i was apprehensive to buy it cos I've never actually seen anybody buying them before and they were priced so cheaply that i was convinced that they were low-grade, china-made (rhyming! :P) products but i was tempted by the colours and anyway, it only cost me $5.60. WOOTS. So cheap.

Rhomlon eyeshadow comes in 4 colours, blue, magenta, purple and green, with a double-ended sponge applicator.

As you can see from the swatch, the eyeshadow is intensely pigmented and really shimmery! (The swatch was made with only 1 swipe of the eyeshadows.) :D Love it loads. And its shimmer not glitter! So it doesn't look low class or anything. It goes onto my eyelids really well, and the fallout is minimal.

It doesn't say where its made but I checked Rhomlons other products and they're made in Japan and Germany!So the probability of this being made in china is pretty low. It does have a funky smell (ugh) but its bearable and it didn't cause me a rash or whatnot so i guess its safe. Either that or i'm thick-skinned haha (ok lousy joke.)

LOL but i do think that the colours are hard to match with each other and i think this should probably be used at night or when you're out clubbing/partying cos the colours come on very strong and you may wind up looking like a clown or a hooker, or in worst case, both.

However, if you must insist on using it, you shouldn't use the sponge applicator and only use it up to your double eyelid.

Overall, I say its a great buy and you should try out rhomlon's eyeshadows! There's a great selection...there's many types plus blush, cream eyeshadows, eyeliners and whatnot. And the eyeshadow here only cost me $5.60!! With the money spent on other drugstore brands' eyeshadows you could get 2 or even more of these! :D I'm recommending it!

Kyushu Spring Fair & Shopping

Recently popped over to tampines mall to do a spot of retail shopping haha and I didn't expect there to be a Kyushu Spring Fair!



I was pleasantly surprised cos I love all things Japanese. Especially food (thoughts of my diet had apparently flown out of the window. Not that there's any open ones in tampines mall lol).

These fairs actually run quite often in Sg actually. The best thing about them is that the vendors are actually real japanese. How cool is that? Usually japanese food in Sg is either made by PRC/Singaporeans so I felt that having japanese lent a real authenticity to the food :D

There was this cute Japanese girl selling okonomiyaki and the chef making it beside her (i think it was her father)




Admittedly, it was extremely pricey at $8. But it was super yummy! It had a layer of pancake with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise and below that were noodles nad vegetables. :D There was a half-cooked egg in the middle of the noodles and some meat at the side of the noodles.

I really loved the egg cos it was gooey and messy and i like eggs that way :D The meat was fab too. Just wished that there was more of it and that it was spread all over instead of clustered at the side. I think it was cured meat cos it was pretty salty.

It was really hard to eat with chopsticks cos the noodles were stuck together and weren't cut plus it was hard to tear off pieces of pancake too. It became a huge mess when I was reaching the end haha.

I bought mochi too! It was also going for $8







It was dusted with peanut butter and the mochi skin was made with sweet potato I believe. Azuki (red bean) filling inside. It looked extremely tantalising on the display but when i bit into it i was disappointed :(

As you can see in the last picture, the mochi is very soft-too soft in fact. The skin wasn't Q and bouncy and chewy as it should be and that was the thing that spoilt it. There could have been more azuki filling as well but the filling itself wasn't bad. It was not cloyingly sweet nor thin.

The Kyushu runs until 4th April! :D So you can still go and buy stuff :D
There's horse oil products, katsudon, sushi, tempura, rice crackers, jelly, drinks, ice cream etc.
I tried the rice crackers and they were fab! :D Too bad they were priced at $12.50. Oh~my poor wallet. *sniffs* I'm still unemployed........agh gotta get a job :(
